STEWARD

Solutions To Encourage Widespread Action for Rural Development (STEWARD) is a grant-funded initiative aimed at providing rural communities with the resources and funding they need to carry out specific community-benefit projects. The STEWARD program identifies and recruits participants to attend a two-day workshop, which concludes with awards of grant monies to key projects that best serve the community at large. PDDG branded and named this initiative, and developed all of the marketing and workshop collateral, as well as a dedicated website. The branding was particularly important, as similar programs already exist. Therefore, the PDDG team took great care in developing the acronym and accompanying visuals.
